Michele Beretta is ready to get back on track this weekend at the Nürburgring, host of the fourth round of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. The German race will run over a distance of three hours and brings an important change to the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 crew of Vincenzo Sospiri Racing: alongside Michele Beretta and Alessio Deledda will be Russian driver Artem Petrov, making his debut in the series.

Beretta’s bond with the Nürburgring runs deep: the Italian driver from Lecco has competed multiple times in the legendary 24 Hours as well as other races on the famous 22 km-long “Nordschleife” layout.

As per tradition, the event attracts thousands of fans and includes special activities dedicated to them. On Saturday evening, from 18:30, a pit walk will allow spectators to experience the paddock atmosphere up close and watch the teams rehearse pit stops. On Sunday, at noon, fans will also have the chance to meet the drivers during the autograph session, an occasion Michele always enjoys taking part in.

“The Nürburgring is a place I am particularly attached to,” said Michele. “I have raced many times on the long circuit, and it is one of my favorites. This time we will compete on the shorter track, but the atmosphere remains special: the crowd is always large, passionate, and knowledgeable. I am really excited to return to Germany. We will have a new teammate, Petrov, and our goal will be to help him integrate quickly and perform at his best. From our side, we will give everything to deliver a strong race. Up to this point in the season, we haven’t collected the results that reflect our true potential. At the Nürburgring I hope things will finally turn in our favor.”

The race will be streamed live on the official GT World Challenge Europe YouTube channel.
