The final round of the GT World Challenge Europe season in Barcelona. Michele Beretta is ready for the final act of his racing season.
This coming weekend, the driver from Brianza will take part in the fifth and final round of the GT World Challenge Europe, taking place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Coming off a spectacular victory at Mugello in the final round of the Italian GT Endurance Championship, Beretta aims to close out the international season by making a mark in the prestigious GT World Challenge, where luck has so far been less than on his side.
Despite the great potential shown by teammates Alessio Deledda and Mattia Michelotto, the results achieved throughout the season have not lived up to expectations for the trio and the VSR team.
The 3 Hours of Catalunya therefore represents the last chance to redeem themselves and demonstrate the true value of the crew, which has already been a protagonist in Italy with two victories, at Monza and Mugello.
“We owe it to luck in the GT World Challenge,” said Mike.
“In previous events, we were penalized by collisions that knocked us out of the points and a potential podium, even though we were running excellent races. I only hope that this time we can race without outside interference, so we can showcase our true potential and that of the team.“
The event will be entirely live-streamed on the dedicated YouTube platform.
