Following his thrilling victory at Monza, Michele is ready to return to the track for the third round of the Italian GT Endurance Championship, taking place this weekend at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola.
The goal is clear: consolidate the top spot and continue fighting for the title. Michele will once again be behind the wheel of the #66 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo 2, managed by Vincenzo Sospiri Racing, alongside young teammates Andrea Frassineti and Rodrigo Testa.
The competition will be high-level, with 41 registered crews competing in a three-hour race format, broadcast live on ACI Sport TV (Sky channel 228) via live streaming, as well as on all the championship’s social media channels (Facebook and YouTube).
For those who missed the live broadcast, a replay of the race will be available on Rai Sport (Digital Terrestrial 58) on Thursday, August 7th at 9:25 PM.
Mike looks ahead to the Imola weekend with confidence:
“We achieved a deserved win at Monza, and we were also very competitive in the first round at Misano. I always say: this is a short championship, every mistake weighs heavily, and we already have a zero after retiring in the first race. The team is working excellently, both in terms of strategy, pit stop management, and car preparation. We have all the ingredients to give our all at Imola as well.”
