Most, Czech Republic: this racetrack will host the second round of ADAC GT Masters next weekend. For Michele Beretta, Junior Driver Lamborghini Squadra Corse, it will be an opportunity to quickly forget the bitter weekend at Silverstone in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, where last Sunday the driver from Lecco could not take part in the race after a huge crash that involved his team-mate, Taylor Proto, on Orange1 FFF Racing Team’s Huracan GT3 EVO. A race that seemed to have started positively with Diego Menchaca, good to avoid the first chaotic start with cars and debris, climbing from the twentieth to the ninth position. After the pit stop, Proto had to serve a Drive-Through penalty which was then the prelude to the contact that ended the race.
For Beretta, therefore, the focus is on the atypical Most circuit, where he will find Marco Mapelli at his side, on the Grasser Racing Team’s car: the duo, after the positive result catched three weeks ago in Oschersleben, are looking for a Top 5 results.

Michele Beretta: “It is really a shame to see how the race ended for us at Silverstone, that crash happened in a very fast corner causing damage such as not to allow us to continue, fortunately without consequences for Taylor. We had the pace and the performance to probably get another result in the Top 10 after that of Monza. For the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup we are already looking forward to the next round of Le Castellet, where last year I had won the Silver Cup. Meanwhile we are already on track for the second weekend of the ADAC GT Masters. Most is a particular track, full of bumps and a narrow roadway; qualifications will be essential because it is very difficult to overcome. We hope to be able to confirm the excellent performance of the test test days on Thursday that saw us close with the sixth best time, just a breath away from the best.

Already taking to the track for tests and free practice, the ADAC GT Masters drivers will be at the wheel today, Saturday 18 May, at 10 am for the first qualifying session valid for Race 1, which will start in the afternoon at 2.45 pm; tomorrow similar program, with Qualification 2 and Race 2 at the same times. Both races can be followed in live streaming on sport1.de, adac.de/motorsport and youtube.com/adac.
