Michele Beretta will attend the Nürburgring-Nordschleife challenge also this year with the top team Phoenix Racing and the Audi R8 LMS GT3. In the first race at the Nürburgring last weekend he got the first deserved podium, the third place, together with Nicki Thiim.

Michele can’t resist the charm of the “Green Hell” and also this racing season he is involved in the special programme where he will get on the track at the wheel of the Audi R8 on the demanding German circuit, before the most prestigious race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series season, the ADAC TOTAL 24-Hour Race.

Michele’s seasonal debut took place last weekend (17 of April) in the first 4 Hours race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series, where Michele run with the team-mate Nicki Thiim taking a fantastic podium, the third place. Michele’s German engagement started positively and will continue with another race which will be held on the second weekend of May. The first round at the Nürburgring also saw the veils fall on the beautiful Audi R8 LMS livery, characterized by a beautiful base with different shades of green.
“It was a good start of the season, but the goal is to get the best result in the 24 Hours. The team was perfect as always and Nicki (Thiim) is a fantastic team-mate. The programme includes preparatory races for the 24 Hours, an event in which we want to reach the maximum to repeat the performance of 2020.”

Michele finishes by summarizing his plans and ambitions.
“Both in the International Gt Open with Vincenzo (Sospiri) and in the Nürburgring Endurance Series with Phoenix Racing, I can express myself at the highest level and I am very happy of that.”

About the cooperation with PhoenixMichele has no doubt.
“My commitment at the Nürburgring continues with Phoenix, a very high level team with whom I feel very good, so much so that our collaboration has been going on for some time and with whom I achieved good results last year.
