Very positive start of the season for Michele Beretta in the first Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup race in Monza. In front of home crowd in the “Temple of Speed”, the driver from Lecco brought up to the podium the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo #555 lined up by FFF Racing Team and shared with Taylor Proto and Diego Menchaca. In the race, on a very tricky track due to huge rain and cold temperature, Beretta always kept a very competitive pace that allowed him to recover many positions after a difficult qualification characterized by repeated interruptions for red flags. Despite a touch with another car (which cost the loss of the bonnet), Beretta-Proto-Menchaca concluded with an excellent third step of the podium in Silver Cup class and 10th overall among fifty cars at the start.

Michele Beretta: “Despite the bad weather, totally different from what we had found in the test, we brought home a good result in this first race of the championship. The weekend was very positive and solid, with no problems whatsoever or mistakes, which allowed us to do a great job resulting the second best Lamborghini at the end, just behind our teammates. This give us for sure a positive vibes looking for the next one in Silverstone.
