It will be a special weekend for Michele Beretta, who returns to race \u201cat home\u201d for the second round of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance, taking place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza\u2014the fastest circuit on the calendar.<\/p>\n

For the second round of the season, the starting grid will be particularly crowded, with as many as 59 GT3 cars taking part, divided among the Pro, Gold Cup, Silver Cup, and Bronze Cup categories. Michele, together with teammates Alessio Deledda and Finlay Hutchinson, will be among the frontrunners in the fiercely competitive Silver Cup, which features 17 teams.<\/p>\n

Adding even more excitement to the 3-hour race will be the three mandatory pit stops\u2014an element that will lead to diverse race strategies and an even more decisive role for the Vincenzo Sospiri Racing team, which will take care of every technical and tactical detail.<\/p>\n

The Monza round carries special significance for Michele. In addition to being the only Italian stop on the championship calendar, it also offers the chance to race in front of partners, fans, and friends\u2014all ready to cheer on the #60 Lamborghini Hurac\u00e1n GT3 EVO2.<\/p>\n

The season debut at Paul Ricard (France) showcased the potential of both the team and the car, which secured pole position and consistently ran at the front during the race, missing the podium only in the final minutes. That performance bodes well for the Monza round.<\/p>\n

The Italian race will also serve as a crucial test ahead of the most important event of the year: the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, scheduled for the end of June. The team has already completed the official test session for the race, which took place last week.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the Monza race, Michele stated:
\u201cWe\u2019re ready and highly motivated because this is our home race\u2014both for me and the team. At Paul Ricard, we demonstrated our potential with the pole position and a race that was fiercely contested right up to the end for a podium spot. At Monza, we want to do even better, also with a view to the 24 Hours of Spa.\u201d<\/p>\n
