The\u00a024 Hours<\/strong>\u00a0race from the very beginning proved to be particularly difficult due to the violent downpours that made\u00a0Nordshlife<\/strong>\u00a0challenging, but it was at nightfall that the situation worsened due to the dense fog that fell on the more than 20 kilometers of the\u00a0German track<\/strong>. The situation forced the organizers to suspend the race waiting for a weather improvement, which took place only on Sunday morning.<\/div>\n

At the restart, the\u00a0Audi R8 GT3<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0Michele<\/strong>\u00a0at the wheel was fighting for the podium when it was repeatedly hit by a rival who seriously damaged the\u00a0R8 GTE<\/strong>, ending\u00a0Mike<\/strong>\u2019s race.<\/div>\n
Having restarted after a long stop in the pits, necessary to repair the car,\u00a0Michele<\/strong>\u00a0couldn\u2019t be able to do nothing else but recover as much as possible in the short time left, finishing in seventeenth place overall.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
The\u00a02021 ADAC 24H<\/strong>\u00a0edition of\u00a0N\u00fcrburgring<\/strong>\u00a0goes on file as the shortest edition ever, with a total of just over eight hours of racing.
\nFor\u00a0Michele<\/strong>\u00a0the time to get over the disappointment will be short, since the weekend of June 20 he will be already on track to defend the leadership in the\u00a0International GT Open<\/strong>, on the Belgian circuit of\u00a0Spa-Francorchamps<\/strong>.<\/div>\n
