Getting on the top of the podium is always is a great satisfaction, but it is clear that we are penalized by the championship BOP and we suffer a huge difference in speed from Bentley, Honda and Mercedes. After qualifying the car in fifth position, you chose to start with used tires. In this way your team-mate was able to make the most of the new tires in the second phase of the race.<\/div>\n

\u201cIn qualifying I could have done better than fifth place, but the wet track made difficult to make the most of the tires. I started attacking with used tires and it was no easy to overtake such fast rivals on the straight. When Frederik entered he was able to take advantage of the new tires we had left for the second stint and this showed to be a good strategy. I am happy because, despite the unfavourable situation, we leave Paul Ricard with a win and the first place in the championship and I hope that something can change in the next races.\u201d<\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
