At the 4 Hours of N\u00fcrburgring Michele stood out in a spectacular challenge that kept him busy in the final. After the race on 1st May, is already time to think about next Sunday\u2019s Six Hours (8 and 9 May), again on the legendary German track.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Michele\u00a0and his team-mates,\u00a0Vincent Kolb\u00a0<\/strong>e\u00a0Frank Stippler<\/strong>, were penalized during qualifying due to a double interruption, that occurred when they were making their best laps. Despite this, they qualified the\u00a0Phoenix Racing<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0Audi\u00a0R8 LMS GT3\u00a0<\/strong>in the fifth row.
\nThe four hours of competition were characterized by several incidents that didn\u2019t allowed Michele and his team-mates to close the gap with the leaders, crossing the finishing line twelfth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Michele<\/strong>\u00a0drove in the second and final stint and distinguished himself in the end of the race when he was protagonist of a strong contest with Dusseldorf\u2019s BMW M6 and the two Mercdes AMG driven by Juncadella and Stolz. The fight was very tight and attracted much of the Tv direction, which for a long time followed the four driver and some Michele\u2019s challenging duels.<\/div>\n

\u201cIt was a positive engagement because I had the chance to drive the car and, as I already said, and work on the setups with different tyres. In the qualifying were penalized by a double red flag, otherwise we would have been further ahead on the starting grid, during the race there were many accidents and this made us lose ground, making us difficult recovering.\u201d<\/em><\/div>\n

Michele\u00a0<\/strong>sees this events in perspective, focusing on the goal.
\n\u201cAfter this race I will busy again next weekend at the N\u00fcrburgring, but everything aims to obtain the best setup for the ADAC TOTAL 24 Hours. Thank to what we\u2019ve seen today, I think that we are ok with the BOP (balance of performance), although the Porsches today have monopolized the top positions\u201d.<\/em><\/div>\n
