From a historical racetrack such Monza, the Temple of Speed, to another legendary, Silverstone: the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup arrives this weekend in the United Kingdom for the second seasonal appointment with 48 GT3 cars attended on the grid. After the second place in Silver Cup and the eighth overall in Monza, Michele Beretta returns to the wheel of the Orange1 FFF Racing Team’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO, along with Diego Menchaca and Tylor Proto: the target is to score a significant result in a circuit that seems good for the italian supercar.

Michele Beretta: “We started well in Monza, immediately with a result in the Top 10 overall and a podium in the Silver Cup, a sign that as a crew we are already competitive and that the team is doing a great job. Certainly in the first round we had particular weather conditions with cold and rain, which could be repeated even at Silverstone. In any case, we are determined to bring home important points for the Silver Cup standings, still aiming for the Top Ten in the overall standings.

After the scheduled test sessions on Thursday and Friday, the second round of Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup 2019 will officially start on Saturday 11 May with free practice, scheduled at 11:40 Italian time; at 4:40 pm the pre-qualifications while the assignment of the starting grid will take place on Sunday morning, with the official qualifications proper, scheduled at 10:40 am; in the afternoon the 3-hour race starts, from 16 to 19 (always Italian time), with live live streaming on www.blancpain-gt-series.com while Eurosport 2 will broadcast the second half of the race.
