Less than fifteen days after Imola’s success, Michele Beretta is ready for a new assault at the leadership of the Italian GT Championship: Vallelunga will host next weekend the penultimate round of the season, and the young driver of 4Motorsport will aim to reset the 7-point gap that separates him from the leadership. An appointment that the Ombra Racing team and its two drivers – Beretta and Frassineti – prepared in the best way with a test day carried out there last week, with very positive feedbacks: “We go to Vallelunga with the awareness that we can do a very good job – says Beretta – The test that we did here last week have given us great indications, which add up to the competitiveness shown at Imola. From our side, we will have the advantage of not having time handicap to take over in the pit-stop, but it will be for sure a great challenge against Ferrari, Audi and BMW, as well as the other Huracan, are fearsome opponents who could play an important role in the championship struggle, and we must absolutely try to stay ahead them

The sixth round of the season will kick off on Friday, September 22nd, with the two free practice rounds (10:40 and 15:10), while official trials will be on Saturday morning at 8:15. In the afternoon Race 1 to 15, followed by Sunday’s Race 2 (15:35). Both races will last 48 minutes + 1 lap and will be broadcast on Raisport as well as streaming on www.acisport.com / CIGT.
