After the positive performance in the italian series, Michele Beretta and Ombra Racing back in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup for the third round of the season. The driver from Lecco, who come from the win in Misano and from the 4th place in Monza, together Andrea Piccini and Stefano Gattuso will try to repeat the good performance of Silverstone, where he closed in the Top 15.

Michele Beretta: “We come from a positive time, with the good results of Misano and Race 1 in Monza in the Italian Championship. At Le Castellet in 2016, Andrea and I had touched the podium with the Grasser Racing Huracan GT3 and this year there are also the conditions for a good result. It will be very hot, and the tire management will be the key. 6 hours of race with the last two at night will be a great test bench for Spa, both for drivers and team.

Andrea Piccini: “The progress of both car and team has already been noted in the previous race of Silverstone and with a set-up of the car in constant improvement there are good reasons to hope for an important result. At Le Castellet, Lamborghini has carried out many tires development tests with Pirelli and this will give us the opportunity to have additional indications to find the ideal setup. Meanwhile, we will be there also to test some solutions focused on Spa 24 Hours, scheduled in the last weekend of July.
